We typically have a love-hate relationship with performance management.

From annual reviews to “micro-burst” bits of feedback, what’s really behind the idea of a performance review and does it really do what we want it to? Does it provide the guidance, motivation and inspiration for career development and growth?

The ability to provide coaching opportunities is a must if you plan to recruit and retain talented employees. Without it, no one has any idea of what they’re doing right and how it contributes to the overall business goals of your organization. When we’re left to wonder…the organization is sure to flounder.
